As a lifetime appointed Notary Public in and for the Province of Ontario I’m authorized by law to take oaths and administer sworn declarations and affidavits, as well as to notarize, certify originals as well as certify true copies of all types of documents.
There are differences between a document bearing a Notarial Certificate and a Certified Copy of a document. Costs of these activities vary, accordingly.
Be aware that Paralegals are restricted from preparing real estate, inheritance, and wills.
However, Notaries Public are authorized to execute these documents. Please bring two pieces of government issued photo IDs bearing your likeness, as well as two witnesses who know you with their own two government issued photo IDs.
You will sign in front of me affirming/swearing that the document's contents say what you wish to do. Your witnesses will attest to having seen you of your own volition sign the document in question.
They will then sign in my presence and I will attest to having seen them sign in witness thereto.
